Johor Port’s Container Terminal is continuously enhancing its services and expanding connectivity options. It is a dedicated terminal serving major shipping lines that call at the port regularly, with a current handling capacity of 1.45 million TEUs.
 
The terminal is equipped with 9 quay cranes, 30 rubber-tyred gantry cranes, 6 reach stackers (40-tonne capacity), 5 front end loaders (FELs) for empty containers, and 62 prime movers, all supporting efficient terminal operations across a spacious container yard spanning 291,150 sq.m.

Operational excellence is supported by the advanced, web-based Johor Port Container Terminal System (JCTS), which enables real-time, integrated, and paperless transactions. The terminal’s dedicated rail depot, which links to the nationwide rail network, further enhances cargo movement efficiency.
 
9,600 sq.m Container Freight Station (CFS) facilitates adjacent to the Container Yard provide cost-effective stuffing and unstuffing, LCL cargo consolidation, and temporary storage of Breakbulk cargo.
